Curriculum vitae


Dr. Jean Pierre Lacquet (born 1964), married with three children, did his medical studies at the Royal University of Leuven from 1982 until 1989. Between 1989 and 1995, he pursued surgical training at the Royal University of Leuven (under Professor Suy) in Heerlen and Hasselt. He pursued special skills in vascular surgery in Leuven from 1995 until 1997, with particular interests in endovascular treatments.

Since 1997, he has been associated as a vascular-thorax surgeon with the Salvator Hospital in Hasselt, as well as the Sint Trudo Regional Hospital in Sint-Truiden. He also serves as a consultant for the Vesalius General Hospital in Tongeren.

He provides a comprehensive spectrum of treatment in the areas of vascular (arterial and venous) pathology and thoracic treatments in association with his colleagues Dr. Ludo Verougstraete and Dr. Gerrit Koppert.
