Curriculum vitae
Dr. Gerrit Koppert (born 1971), married with two children, did his medical and surgery studies at the Royal University of Leuven from 1989 until 2003. He also gained special skills in classical vascular surgery and endovascular surgery from 2003 until 2005 at the Oost Limburg Hospital (ZOL) in Genk and Royal University of Leuven Hospital (under Professor Nevelsteen).
He has attended numerous international symposia in the U.S.A, France, Great Britain, and the Netherlands. He has also collaborated on various studies for the advancement of the quality and development of stents and endoprostheses.
He is familiar with the most recent improvements in the treatment of varicose veins, specifically the “laser” and “radio frequency” (ablation).
